KREAVISION, in partnership with WITTMANN, has unveiled the world’s first injection-molded ice-cream cone—shifting wafer production from gas ovens to precision molding and opening a new chapter for injection molders and the food industry.
By replacing baking with injection molding, producers can:

And it’s not just cones. The same platform can form biscuits and other baked goods, unlocking real design freedom and faster product iteration.
The cone’s recipe is as forward-looking as the process: 0% fat, 0% sugar—a cleaner, more sustainable treat with no compromise on strength or shape.
3DX Additive Manufacturing was proud to support this world premiere. Our custom end-of-arm tooling (EOAT)—built for a four-cavity cone mold—ensures gentle demolding, rock-solid handling, and cycle times that keep pace with production ambitions.
